We got about 4” of snow last night. There are chain controls before Mountain High East. It is also very windy in the higher elevations. So chains will be required to get to any snowplay today. Drive safely.

I just checked an we still have plenty of snow for snow play. The snow is a bit hard but you will still have lots of fun with your family.
Roads are open no tire chain requirement weather is clear with light wind and about 40 deg.

There is a weather change coming on Sunday maybe more snow so the conditions may change on Sunday.

Good Morning
It is a beautiful morning clear sky light wind and the the temperature is in the mid 40’s. There is very little traffic and lots of parking areas.

This snow is still GREAT with very good conditions. These pictures I just took this morning.

Stop by Mountain Hardware 1390 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood and pick up a snow play map and receive the most current info on the conditions.

1-6-2020. It’s a beautiful day here in the Mountains. Great snowplay. No chains required and plenty of snow to play in. Come on up and stop by Mtn Hardware to get a free snowplay map and a $5.00 adventure pass. It will stay nice up here at least through the week.

We have lots of new snow. The road that are open are good ( NO tire chain needed). So grab the kids and head to the mountains for a fun day in the snow.

Monday. Today the roads are clear and snowplay will be good. I would still come prepared for mountain driving. Plan to arrive early in town before it does get busy.

Yes it’s Snowing but I would suggest not coming up today because chains are required! Tomorrow will be better the storm is leaving tonight. I will post tomorrow with updates on road conditions. Merry Christmas 🎄

The roads are open with no chain control (but ALWWYS carry tire chains winter mountains in the winter).

Today will be a Great day. Clear a bit cold, new snow, no traffic and clear weather so come on up.
