1/6/19 9am Update
Highway 2 is now open without any controls up to Big Pines from the east.
N4 (to Jackson Lake) and Table Mountain road require tire chains.
It is going to be a bit crowed today because of Highway 2 closed at Big Pines. So if possible it would be a much better day to take the kids out of school and come tomorrow Monday. You will have the whole area to yourself.

Looks like a storm is coming latter today.
As of right now all road are open and NO controls. Currenty it is cloudy and about 30 degrees in the snow play areas.
Make sure you stop by Mountain Hardware 1390 highway 2 Wrightwood, Ca. 92397 we can let you know where the best conditions are.
I will up date these pages as the weather changes. Please always come ready for winter weather. Make sure you have tire chains that fit your car and know how to use them along with …a shovel and warm clothes.

Looks like a very nice day here in the Mountains. As you have seen in the pictures I have posted the pasted few day there is still some snow. We can let you know where the best current conditions are for snow play today.

Yes, there are still areas to play in the snow. Stop by Mountain Hardware 1390 hwy 2 Wrightwood, Ca. we can give you the most current info. P.S. We have Restrooms (they are portables) but they are something and we work hard on keep them as clean as possible.

Good Morning
It sure feels like winter today. It is windy and about 19 degrees up in the Snow play areas.
I drove up to the areas this morning. The snow is a bit thin but I did find a couple of Great Spots see the pictures below.
The roads are open no controls. …

We are getting light snow this morning as of this time not very much acclimating as of yet. Let hope for more snow latter today.
Roads are open today BUT they may change at any time so make sure you carry tire chains (and know how to use them) and prepare for winter travel
