Snow reports and places to play in the snow near Wrightwood, Ca. in the Angeles National Forest

Last Weekend

This is Teri, last weekend I went camping at Table Mountain with my family. It was amazing, trees everywhere. The temperature was at least 20 degrees cooler than off the hill. We took our grandson fishing for the first time at Jackson Lake. He caught a small catfish!! We also saw some beautiful yucca while hiking on Jackson Lake trail. The sunsets were gorgeous!!
If you’re looking for something to do come on up to Wrightwood!!
Stop by Mountain Hardware we’d love to see you! #wrightwood #jacksonlake #fishing #hiking #camping #sunsets #family #mtnhardware #summertime

I just returned from the snow play areas this morning.

Conditions look great we receiver about 2 feet of snow in the past week

NO Chains required today. Except to get to Mtn High North Pole

We recommend that arrive early by 9-10am to avoid most traffic

Always make sure you carry chains that fit your car and that you know how to install them. Only play in the snow on Public lands, (stop to see us at Mountain Hardware and  we can provide you with a map and info where the best conditions are currently). Please respect private property and do not play there.   You will also need an Adventure Pass $5.00 per day or $30.00 for a year we can supply that for you. Please remember to always pick up and take home any trash as this will make it nicer for the next visitor.
