We have lots of new snow for Great snow paly conditions.  The problem today will be the amount of people coming up to have  fun in the snow.   I would suggest that you plan on arriving in Wrightwood by about 8:30am to avoid most of the traffic.  Also if you plan to leave by 2pm at the latest you should miss most of the traffic going down the mountain.

Make sure you car is prepared for winter travel.  Tire chains are not required at this time.

Please make sure you ONLY play in the snow on the National Forest Land.  You will be ticketed if you play on private property.  Here at Mountain Hardware we have a FREEE snow play map to help you find the correct areas to play in the snow.  Please stop by Mountain Hardware 1390 hwy 2 Wrightwood, Ca. 92397.

Also today is a FREE Adventure Pass day.  Because it is President Day so you will not need to buy a pass today.
