Good Morning we received about 1-2 inches of snow last night.  As of this morning hwy 2 is open to Wrightwood from hwy 138.  When you travel to the west of Wrighwood to the snow play areas you will need tire chains on your car.  If you need tire chains we sell them at Mountain Hardware.

Today will be very busy so the best idea is to arrive here as early as possible then to plan on leaving by 2pm.  By doing this you will avoid most of the traffic problems.

Today the weather is clear sky, temp is about 20 degrees with a light wind.  There is another storm due in tomorrow on Sunday.  Please remember to only snow play on open National Forest Lands.  You can stop here  at Mountain Hardware 1390 hwy2 Wrightwood, Ca. 92397 and we can give you a map to show you where you can play and the best current conditions.
