Well today is a bit of a Yucky day.  We have had rain for the past 2 days.  There are some areas to play in the snow but it is limited.  So if you have the option you may wan to wait and see what next weekend brings.

Rain is the word this morning.

Today would be a good day to take care of project at home, go to school, or maybe even work.  As today would not be fun for snow play.  We have been getting rain on and off since yesterday.  The weather service is calling for the storm  to cool off during the weekend.  But for today I would not come up.

Then temp is currently in the mid 40’s with the high today up to the mid 50’s.  The roads are open and clear NO Tire chain needed today.  We still have good snow for snowplay stop by and get the inside scoop on where the best conditions are.

Beautiful Day

We have snow for snowplay.  The weather is blue sky with high in the mid 50’s light wind.  Roads are open with no control so no tire chains are needed.

The only problem I can foresee for today will be the traffic.  So if you can be here in Wrightwood by 9am or come on up after about 1pm after many of visitors are starting to leave you will have the best chance of missing the traffic.

Looks like it will be a Great weekend in the mountains

We have snow for snowplay and warm temperatures classic Southern Ca. weather.  All roads are open no need for tire chains.  I just visited the snowplay areas and they looked good.

This being a 3 day weekend MLK holiday there will be lots of traffic.  I would recommend that you arrive in Wrightwood by 9am on the weekend.  If not then about 1-2pm would also be a good time as many people are leaving by that time.

If you are going to come up this weekend.  You should plan on being in town by about 9am and if not by then try after 2pm to be in town.  If not I am sure you will be caught in a large amount of traffic.  Since we received new snow this week.  For other details on conditions please read by post from earlier today.
