Well we got rain on Wed. here.  So there is some snow play but not very much.  If you have to drive a great distance I would not at this time.

The WX Service says that we should get snow in March so lets keep our fingers crossed.

It is another beautiful day here in Wrightwood/ Big Pines area.  Blue sky with some wind at the higher ridges.

The snow play conditions look very good still.  It is still cold at night so this is what is keeping the snow in good conditions.

Also, make sure you lock your car and hide or take you valuables with you do not leave them in your car in plain sight.

THE SNOW LOOKS GREAT

Check out the pictures taken today.  The roads are open and NO CHAINS needed.

We will be closing early on Sunday because of the Super Bowl camp.  We are closing at 3pm

We received about 7″ of snow in the snow play areas this week.  Conditions look GREAT for this weekend.

At this time Hwy 2 is closed just past Big Pines.  I am sure it will on before the weekend.

We are just starting to receive the leading edge of a winter storm YAHOO!!!!!!!!

But the bad new is I would suggest that you wait until next week to come on up.  As the road conditions will be very bad today with this new storm.

I just came back from checking the Snow play

Yes, we do have some snow left.  It is a bit hard as it is about 3 weeks old.  There were lots of people having fen when I drove by.

WE HAVE GREAT SNOW

Come on up the conditions are Super.  We have plenty of snow and the roads are open and clear.  The best time to come on up is the mid week Monday thru Friday.  There is a lot less traffic and you will have a great time.

If you have to come on the weekend then plan on being in town by 8:30am this will help you from being stuck in the skier and snowboard traffic going to Mtn High.

We have great snow.

But the problem is traffic. I would suggest if you are not here today not to come.  If you are going to come another day then make sure you are in town by 8:30am to get ahead of the traffic problem from the Mtn High Traffic.
