I just came back from the snow play areas and they look great with lots of snow 11/2-2 feet for snow. Most of it still untracked.  The areas up Hwy #2 west of the ski area along the road and in the Grassy Hollow area look the best.

Mountain Hardware will be closed on Christmas Day but the Wrightwood Mini Mart will be open with sleds hat and gloves.  They are located about 100 yards west of our location and on the south side of the highway.  We will be open again on 12/26/10 at 8:30am.

Always make sure you carry chains that fit your car and that you know how to install them. Only play in the snow on Public lands, ( stop to see us at Mountain Hardware and we can provide you with a map and info where the best conditions are currently). Please respect private property and do not play there. Please remember to always pick up and take home any trash as this will make it nicer for the next visitor.
