Looks like it will be a Great weekend in the mountains

We have snow for snowplay and warm temperatures classic Southern Ca. weather.  All roads are open no need for tire chains.  I just visited the snowplay areas and they looked good.

This being a 3 day weekend MLK holiday there will be lots of traffic.  I would recommend that you arrive in Wrightwood by 9am on the weekend.  If not then about 1-2pm would also be a good time as many people are leaving by that time.

I hope everybody has a Great visit to YOUR local mountains.

Always make sure you carry chains that fit your car and that you know how to install them. Only play in the snow on Public lands, ( stop to see us at Mountain Hardware and we can provide you with a map and info where the best conditions are currently). Please respect private property and do not play there.   You will also need an Adventure Pass $5.00 per day or $30.00 for a year we can supply that for you. Please remember to always pick up and take home any trash as this will make it nicer for the next visitor.
