Happy Valentine’s Day and a extra day off for some. 

We still have some areas for sledding and playing in the snow.  We have not had any new snow for about 3 weeks so the snow is very spring like hard in the morning and softening in the afternoon.  There is some dirt showing but I was up in the play areas and people are still having fun.  The weather service is calling for a storm cycle starting on Tuesday in the afternoon through the weekend.  So if you do not want to drive in the snow come and get it today.  But if you would like fresh snow wait until later in the week.  Please check back on the Great Outdoor Report and I will keep it updated.

Do not forget our MID WEEK SPECIAL (except holidays) . To encourage you to come up during the week, here at MOUNTAIN HARDWARE we will give you a 15% discount on any snow play related items including Adventure Passes on weekdays  excluding holidays.  Just mention this post at the register to receive this discount.

Always make sure you carry chains that fit your car and that you know how to install them. Only play in the snow on Public lands, ( stop to see us at Mountain Hardware and we can provide you with a map and info where the best conditions are currently). Please respect private property and do not play there.   You will also need an Adventure Pass $5.00 per day or $30.00 for a year we can supply that for you. Please remember to always pick up and take home any trash as this will make it nicer for the next visitor.
